Entry 3: Web 2.0 and its benefits for the students' education

Entry 1: Information Communication Technology (ICT) in ESL/EFL classroom

Hello, my name is Manuel Obispo, I am a BA graduate student in English Language of the Technological University of El Salvador, I am currently developing the Pre-specialization, the last phase of the graduation process.

The teaching / learning process of English Language requires the use of tools to assist this process, one of these tools is ICT, which has easy to use mechanisms that increase the interest of students for learning.
The use of technology by teachers, has improved their techniques and procedures in education, resulting in students with good grades can face the world.

These are some ways to use ICT in ESL/EFL classroom

1. Through websites that offer educational information, where you can find additional topics, new topics related to English language learning.
2. Through E-mail lesson, exchange of information with students from other countries.
3. Project work that you can help from other educational websites, obtaining information relevant topic.
4. Through virtual classrooms.
5. Using websites to develop English tests of different levels.
6. Through of forums, where many people of different parts of the world share their opinions about teaching/ learning English.

As a conclusion ICT is one of the most common ways to help in the teaching/learning process in ESL/EFL classroom and that had have good results so far.
